Kitchen and Hand Towels

During my 21 year baby sling sewing career, one of the services I offered was turning customers' long baby wraps into ring slings. After a while, I started buying a few wraps wholesale to sell them as in-stock slings. There was always a yard or two of the wrap fabric left over after I'd make the ring slings, though. Thankfully, the same properties that make good baby wrap fabrics (softness and absorbency) also make great hand towels! Linen is a staple fiber for long-wearing, absorbent toweling, and so I used what was left of my linen stock to make kitchen towels as well.
